FAQs

Yes. We require at least three months of indoor cycling or comparable group coaching experience. That baseline ensures you’re comfortable cueing form, managing intensity, and reading the room so riders feel safe, challenged, and successful. If you’re newer but have strong coaching chops—like leading athletics or small-group training—tell us how those skills translate to cycling. New hires receive studio orientation, a review of safety protocols, and shadow/sub opportunities before taking on a regular class. Share any video clips or socials that show your coaching voice, music style, and energy. Availability for early mornings/evenings/weekends is a plus.

A nationally recognized cycling certification is required. We commonly see Les Mills, Schwinn, Stages, Spinning®, AFAA Group Fitness, and ACE Group Fitness; other respected programs are welcome. Be sure your certification is current (include the expiration date) and list any additional credentials like CPR/AED, kettlebell, or strength formats—these can open subbing or cross-training opportunities. If you’re actively enrolled in a recognized course, note your timeline and provide proof of registration. We also value continuing education—tell us about workshops, specialty rides, or performance training you’ve completed, especially those covering power, cadence coaching, periodization, and inclusive cueing.

This part-time role focuses on member-friendly time blocks: early mornings (before work), evenings (after work), and weekends. Exact times vary by season and demand, but expect 45–60 minute rides, plus setup and breakdown time. You’ll be asked for your preferred windows and any blackout times during hiring. Subbing is common and a great way to earn more hours and get in front of new riders. Reliability matters—arriving 10–15 minutes early to test audio, bikes, and lighting makes a big difference. We also host occasional special events, theme rides, or charity classes you can opt to lead

This is 100% on-site in Wilkes-Barre, PA. Our cycling experience depends on real-time energy, sound, and face-to-face coaching, so virtual instruction isn’t part of this role. You’ll need reliable transportation and the ability to commute to 18702 for scheduled classes, subbing needs, and team meetings. On-site presence helps you connect with members, adjust bikes safely, and create a high-impact studio environment. If you also teach other formats or have availability beyond cycling, let us know—being on-site can open cross-format opportunities. Please note: we don’t accept phone inquiries; apply online and we’ll contact candidates selected for interviews.

Pay starts at $20/hour, with potential increases based on experience, certifications, and class leadership. You’ll also receive a FREE health club membership, giving you full access to our premium amenities: pool, sauna/steam, hot tub, indoor track, courts, group training areas, and more. We provide annual certification credit reimbursement to help you maintain credentials and grow professionally. Additional benefits may include discounted services, subbing opportunities for extra earnings, and access to education events. While this is a part-time, in-person role, you’ll be part of a supportive team culture that values safety, inclusivity, performance coaching, and member results.
